SYLVIA A. K. STRIPLING is a native of Pennsylvania, and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, magna cum laude, from the College Misericordia. She practiced medical/surgical nursing and taught nursing in both Pennsylvania and Florida for ten years before entering the legal profession. Mrs. Stripling received her law degree from the University of Florida in 1978, with high honors, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif in recognition of her high academic achievements. Mrs. Stripling entered the private practice of trial law in Orlando, Florida in 1978, specializing in the defense of medical and legal malpractice cases, as well as many other types of personal injury matters in courts all over Florida, both State and Federal. She maintains the highest peer rating for legal ability and integrity as established by the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory. Since relocating to Gainesville, her emphasis has been on representing injured people in personal injury actions. She concentrates in the areas of medical malpractice, motor vehicle accident cases and other cases involving personal injuries and wrongful death.
